Concho Valley Land Surveying, LLC

Mr. Houston’s experience ranges from small residential surveys to a $220,000,000 military project. These projects include lot surveys, subdivisions, ranch surveys, topographic surveys, route surveys, Patent surveys, construction staking, boundary disputes, as-builts, easements, location staking and accident surveys. Mr. Houston has supervised staking and preparing permit plats for several thousand oil and gas wells. These include both vertical and horizontal wells. He also has extensive experience in boundary surveying of more than 200,000 acres in west Texas. These include surveys for vacancies, Patents and Deeds of Acquittance involving the Texas General Land Office. Clients have included local residents and ranchers, developers, the Texas General Land Office, city, county and state agencies, large and small oil companies and attorneys. Mr. Houston is also experienced in consulting, litigation, depositions and preparing documents for court exhibits.

An area in which Concho Valley Land Surveying excels is boundary surveying. Researching, recovering and identifying old original survey corners from the 1800’s is critical for surveying ranches, easements and staking oil and gas locations. This takes a thorough knowledge and understanding of the disposition of the Public Domain, the archives at the General Land Office, case law and years of experience.
